Extremely disappointing stay. I paid a premium expecting comfort and good service, but the experience ruined my vacation.
• The room floor was greasy and slippery. I asked for it to be cleaned but it was ignored.
• No indoor slippers or bottle opener were provided — when I asked, staff told me to go borrow one from the restaurant.
• Tour sales were aggressively pushed, and we were told most tours would be closed due to a public holiday — this was false. Many operators on the island were open.
• Breakfast was terrible — the only meat was a low-quality sausage, and flies were flying over the food with no one taking care of it.
• Buggy service was refused even though it was raining. At check-out (11:40 AM, before the 12 PM deadline), we asked for a ride to the jetty and were told we were “late” and she couldn’t arrange it — despite the short walking distance.
• Receptionist named Nafa was rude, impatient, and showed clear discrimination toward Chinese/Asian-looking guests. I overheard her say “Chinese people don’t speak English” — absolutely unprofessional and offensive.
No one cared whether we needed assistance on arrival or departure. For the price I paid, I expected so much more. I will not be returning and do not recommend this hotel.
